Do You Have a Strategy for Your Life?

Strategy is at the heart of all that you do. You have, and run, a Strategy for everything that you do in your life and most of the time this strategy runs completely unconscious to you.

We can define strategic thinking as the generation and application of insights on a continual basis to achieve your ideal results and if you’re in business, then you might add that it gives you a competitive advantage. Strategic planning is the channeling of the insights generated by strategic thinking into an action plan to achieve goals and objectives.
Insights also act as the bridge connecting experience to expertise, and strategic thinking is how we build that bridge of insights every day, in our personal and business lives. Just as intelligent allocation of limited resources is at the heart of strategy, insight is at the heart of strategic thinking.

You see, insight is the difference between taking a business-as-usual incremental approach and pursuing dynamic game-changing initiatives that separate winners from losers. Insights are the bridge connecting experience to expertise, and strategic thinking is how we build that bridge of insights every day we’re in business.

Too often in the “action is everything” world we live in, we are hamsters running on a wheel. Day in and day out we run faster and faster, doing the same things in the same ways we’ve always done them. Trouble is, we’re often doing the wrong things: things that drain critical resources from those few effective tasks that really will make us successful. If we think of our business as a Ferrari and strategy as the steering wheel, insights are the key to the ignition. A business without insights is like a Ferrari without the key: it looks sensational on the outside, but it isn’t going anywhere.

Experience without expertise means nothing. Just because someone has forty years of experience breathing doesn’t necessarily mean they’re getting better at it. And unless you’re actively generating insights about your business on a continual basis, you are simply not taking full advantage of your experience.

Take the United States Postal Service, for example. It has been in business since 1789, which means it has 222 years of experience delivering things. It also happens to misdirect, damage, and lose numerous items each year.
In contrast, FedEx has been in business for just 40 years yet it has revolutionized the industry, becoming the most versatile mover of goods in the world, with on-time delivery rates of 99.8 percent!

This example shows that experience really means nothing – expertise is the key to creating a top quality life and business. To obtain that expertise, you have to have a strategy. If you’re not fully committed to creating the strategy that works for you, you will constantly struggle and may never get the expertise you need to fulfill your life’s purpose.

Many people find that they need a little help to find the strategy that works best for them. Business coaches and personal coaches are great options but many people prefer to utilize one coach to help them create the personal AND business lives they want. A Life Coach is the answer for these people. A Life Coach will guide you towards integrating your goals for you personally and for your business into one, allowing you to create an all around purposeful, meaningful, happy life.

Are You Feeling Like the Law of Attraction Isn’t Working for You?

After watching the movie or reading the book, “The Secret”, many of us have tried hard to change our lives by using the Law of Attraction. We think all the good thoughts, we know what it is that we really want in life, and we’ve really focused on what we want. But we still don’t seem to be seeing the results we want. Why?

Well, it’s because the Law of Attraction doesn’t work all by itself. There’s more to it than the Gurus in “The Secret” had the ability to tell you about. It was a great start, but there’s just more to it than that.

You have to integrate science, spirituality and the New Psychology into the LOA to implement strategic thinking and planning. Working the entire process together, in the right way, is what will bring you what you truly desire in life. You’ll no longer feel that you need to look outside of yourself for answers, try to add something to yourself, fill up place that you perceive are empty, or even ‘attract’ things to you.

There are more Laws that work closely with the Law of Attraction, call the Law of Emergence and the Law of Correspondence. Activating your intuition and these Laws will allow you to operate fully in your life. Then you can incorporate Quantum Physics, Neuroscience, Proprietary Neural Re-Patterning Energy Tools and Techniques. You can then understand and implement the New Psychology, The Psychology of Human Needs through the use of Personal Strategic Intervention.

The strategic integration of all these are what make the extraordinarily transformational changes in your life. You will then be able to see all of your goals, including your entrepreneurial business goals, manifest into your life.

As you learn and implement all these things, you can use them to increase your prosperity, the quality of your relationships, your fulfillment, joy, health, and all aspects of your life. This, in turn, will help you to show and teach others how to fulfill their life-long dreams. So don’t just say the Law of Attraction doesn’t work; learn how to make it work for you!

The Truth About New Year’s Resolutions and The Secret to Real Happiness

It seems hard to believe, we’re already in February, how is your New Year going so far? I know it’s still somewhat early in the year and yet, do you know what traditionally occurs by January 15?

Statistics show that 95% of people that actually made a New Year’s Resolution had already broken it by January 15. And that’s if you’ve even made a resolution.

I mean, think about it. Most people don’t even make a resolution anymore. Why? Because they’ve made them for years and years and years and they know they’re not going to follow through. So, after a while, who wants to disappoint themselves? Who wants to be upset with themselves? Why even bother to set a different standard this year. it’s not ging to turn out differently. You know it’s going to be the same as last year, right?

So, I have a question for you, “What is that makes any of us, even want to make a resolution?” It’s a fascinating question. Why is it that at the beginning of the year, we have this desire, this pull inside of us that makes us want to make things better than before?

I think part of it is because the beginning of the year gives us this opportunity of  possibility, a sense that we could create changes in our life and have a new start, that we can start fresh and have new successes and victories.

The calendar itself is quite arbitrary, how can we use it effectively, to serve our lives, beginning right now?

How can we move beyond just making some New Year’s Resolution to making some real and lasting change in our lives?

What will it actually take to make these things happen, these opportunities of possibility, because there’s no question that inside of you, the only thing that’s going to bring you real happiness and joy in your life is having an experience where on a consistent  basis, you feel that your life is making progress. If there’s one thing I want to remind you of, which I teach, it’s pretty simple really — getting more stuff will not make you happy. That’s good news to most of us, as this is one of the most challenging economic times in recent memory.

Most of us know this and it’s an important  reminder. It doesn’t matter what you get. It doesn’t matter whether it’s more money or opportunity, those things might get you excited for a minute. Even a relationship, as wonderful as it may be, if that relationship doesn’t keep growing, it won’t stay exciting and wonderful.

So, it’s my experience that the secret to real happiness is progress. Progress equals happiness. And if we can make progress on a consistent basis, we feel hopeful and alive. That’s why at the beginning of the year, we get this feeling, this thought that says, “Okay, I can create a New start, I can really do what my soul desires. I could expand, I could learn, grow and change or maybe better than that change, I could actually progress.”
